Day Trips Around Maui

North Shore:

Feeling adventurous? Take a stroll through the jungle and swim in the waterfalls at Twin Falls. Afterwards head over to the quaint beach town of Paia you may even see some windsurfers as you drive past Ho’okipa. You will find shops and eateries and can even walk down to the beach. If you are lucky try and snag a reservation at Mama’s Fish House.

South Shore:

If you are looking for a relaxing beach day the south shore has a plethora of beach spots to choose from including Big Beach or any of the beaches off S Kihei Rd. There are also several eateries to choose from our favorites being in the triangle. We love to go watch live music and grab a bite to eat at Ohana Seafood Bar and Grill.

West Shore:

We love to head over to the west side for all our surfing and water adventure needs. Breakwall is a great spot for beginners and several surf schools are nearby to get you started. If being underwater is more your speed there are several business you can rent gear from or go on a snorkeling adventure with. We recommend checking out Honolua Bay which is a short drive from the major resorts. After a full day of water activity you can wander Front St. and check out the shops and restaurants. Waikiki Brewing Co. is always a great oceanfront spot for some food and drinks.

Upcountry:

For some magical views, we suggest heading upcountry. You can try some unique wines at Maui Wine while taking in the island or take a relaxing stroll around Ali’i Kula Lavender farms.
